Yesterday was the National Day of Protest to End Police Brutality. The family of Joetavius Stafford was present - along with FTP Movement, the Revolutionary Communist Party and members of the New Black Panther Party. There was also a black man who claimed to be an American - flanked in red, white and blue (I genuinely hope that America accepts him soon).

The cops across the street were laughing and carrying on as if a movement wasn’t unfolding before them. They assume that everyone will go on about their business soon. We will not forget. I am Joetavius Stafford. I am Troy Davis. I am Oscar Grant. I am Kathryn Johnston. I am Sean Bell.
